This ensures transparency, protects client confidentiality, and supports compliance with Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
Use of Digital Platform (Zensible)
The client acknowledges and consents to the therapist’s use of Zensible, a digital practice management platform operated by Zensible Counseling Private Limited (www.zensible.in), for therapy documentation, scheduling, billing, and administrative purposes. The client understands and agrees to the following:
Purpose: Zensible is used solely to facilitate the secure management of session notes, records, appointments, and communication between the Therapist and Client.
Data Security: The platform is hosted on Microsoft Azure, with encryption enabled for all data at rest and in transit. Zensible complies with Indian data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and adheres to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
Confidentiality: Access to any data stored within Zensible is restricted solely to the Therapist and, where applicable, the Client.
Anonymisation: Personally identifiable information within therapy notes is automatically anonymised by the Platform.
AI Usage: Zensible’s artificial intelligence features are designed only to assist with therapy documentation and do not use Client information for external AI model training or third-party data processing.
Data Ownership: The Therapist retains ownership of the clinical records they create, and the Client retains rights to their personal data as applicable under Indian law.
Consent: By signing this consent form, the Client expressly authorises the Therapist to use Zensible for therapy-related record keeping and administrative functions, with the assurance that all reasonable security and confidentiality measures are in place.

Definitions
For the purpose of this consent form, the following terms shall have the meanings set forth below:
“Therapist” refers to the licensed or qualified mental health professional providing therapeutic services to the Client, who is duly authorized to practice under applicable laws and professional regulations. The Therapist is the individual responsible for maintaining therapy records, ensuring client confidentiality, and determining the appropriate use of the Platform as part of clinical practice.
“Client” refers to the individual receiving therapy or counselling services from the Therapist, including any person who provides personal, medical, or psychological information in the course of the therapeutic relationship, whether in person or through digital or teletherapy means.
“Platform” refers to Zensible, the digital practice management and therapy documentation software operated by Zensible Counseling Private Limited (www.zensible.in), which enables secure storage, scheduling, billing, and note-taking for therapy sessions.
