Multi-Participant Session Management for Therapists
Objective
Steps to create a multi-participant therapy session in Zensible, ensuring that therapists can efficiently manage client participation.
Key Steps
Step 1: Select Session Type
Open Zensible and navigate to the session creation page.
Select a session type that supports multiple participants.
Step 2: Choose Clients
Use the search bar to filter and select one or more clients from your existing client list.
After selecting the desired clients, click on 'Add Participants'.
Step 3: Understand Primary Participant Designation
Note that the first selected participant is marked as the primary participant.
This designation is for system purposes only; clients will not see who is marked as primary.
Step 4: Remove Participants if Necessary
If you need to remove a participant, click on the remove option.
If the primary participant is removed, the next participant will automatically be marked as primary.
Step 5: Add New Clients Manually
To add a new client not in the system, click on the option to add a client manually.
Use your Gmail ID with a '+' and the client's initials if you do not have their email.
Note that the email ID is mandatory, but the phone number is optional.
Step 6: Confirm New Client Addition
After entering the new client's details, click on 'Add Participants' to include them in the session.
Step 7: Consent for Automatic Transcription
The primary client's consent for automatic transcription will apply to all participants.
Step 8: Switching Session Types
If you switch from a multi-participant session to an individual session, the primary client will remain.
If you switch back to a multi-participant session, the previously selected primary client will still be there, but secondary clients will be removed.
Step 9: Save the Session
After adding all desired participants, click 'Save' to finalize the session.
Cautionary Notes
Ensure that you have the correct email addresses for all clients to avoid issues with adding them.
Be mindful of the primary participant designation, especially in couples therapy, as it is only for system use and not visible to clients.
Tips for Efficiency
Familiarize yourself with the client list to quickly select participants.
Use the search filter effectively to find clients faster.
Regularly update client information to ensure smooth session creation.
